Health History
The initial phase involves compiling a health history of you, which includes the completion of a questionnaire regarding your current health and medical history prior to your appointment. This questionnaire includes a comprehensive medical history exploring your current concerns. Typically, this includes inquiry to any previous treatments, traumas, or questions about your family medical history.
First Appointment
Following this, you will attend your initial consultation. Your chiropractor may ask to follow up questions to answers previously provided to ensure the accuracy of their history. A thorough physical and neurological examination will be completed, along with a postural assessment, as part of the process to establish a working diagnosis.
Based on the specific concerns, the examination may involve orthopaedic or neurological tests. In certain cases, patients might be recommended for imaging studies. If it is determined that we may not provide the most suitable assistance, we will refer you to an appropriate professional. Conversely, if we believe we are well-suited to address your needs, we will discuss your treatment options and outline the proposed course of action. The initial consultations for both adults and children are priced at $98 each, while follow-up consultations cost $61 for standard cases and $56 for pensioners, seniors, children, and concession card holders.
